College Decisions...

I've always told myself that when I go to college, I'm getting as far away from here as possible. Well, that would be throwing away a lot of money. My dream school is the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, but my parents are not willing to pay the out of state tuition. I will more than likely be going in-state somewhere. I have many different choices: UK, UofL, Transy, WKU, etc.

My boyfriend and I have been talking about college quite a bit lately. He will be attending Western in the fall. This will be good for us while I'm still in highschool because it's so close. But, when I go to college, it will be a whole new story. I had never really considered going to Western, but it becoming an option. It's cheaper than the other schools and we would be at the same school together, making our relationship a lot easier. I figured that I would go to Western for my first four years for my undergraduate then maybe go to UK, or somewhere where I would like to settle down at, for my graduate. The options are still up in the air and I have a little while to think about it, so we will see.

On the Road to Rupp

So, Daviess County pretty much has an awesome basketball team. They made it to the sweet 16 which will be played at UK's Rupp Arena. My friend Meghan Sallee and I are leaving right after school to head up to Lexington. We are staying with her grandparents who live about ten minutes away from UK. Thank goodness we get to stay with them or else we would be paying for an outrageous hotel room. Also, I'm really glad we're leaving today. If not, we would have to leave at 6:30 in the morning! But now, we get to sleep in :) If the boys win they play again on Friday which means no school for us again. We will be staying up there Thursday night if they win! Go panthers!! See you all at Rupp!

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

Well, I have some exciting news! My grades are slowly, but surely, coming up. I now have an 88 in APUSH and an 87 in Physics. Yeah, yeah, some of you may say that those aren't very good grades, but they're  good for me. My APUSH teacher has been offering extra credit assignments which have been helping me out tremendously!

Now, on to some bad news. Apparently there has been some rumors going around about our soccer team. These rumors got back to the coaches and they were NOT happy. They have been talking to us one-by-one about what's been going on. They are even thinking about calling a meeting and discussing everything that has happened. Nobody can figure out who is spreading these rumors or who is telling our coaches, but we will find out.

Last but not least, the ugly. So...I think I broke my tailbone. Yes, you heard me, my tailbone. I am in the most excrutiating pain. I can hardly walk, I have a hard time sitting, I can hardly go to the bathroom, I can't sleep at night, I have to drive while sitting on a pillow, I can't run, advil won't get rid of this pain, and I am currently sitting on two pillow in my English class. I haven't been to the doctor yet. It's been hurting since Sunday. If it doesn't start feeling better by Monday, I'm going to see a doctor.

The Parentals

Hey everyone, I know it's been a while since I've updated my blog. Not a whole lot has been happening lately except for something that happened this morning.

As I'm getting ready this morning, my mother calls up to me, "Don't you have a meeting to go to this morning?" I told her that the meetings aren't every week and she got really mad at me for not going and she told me that I have changed so much and that she doesn't know who I am anymore. She told me that I don't even care about school or anything anymore. She said that we were going to have a talk tonight and to not make any plans for tonight. Great! I haven't changed at all. I'm doing the best I can in school. I'm sorry that my grades are not all 100% and classes aren't as easy as they were back when you were in school. I'm so sick of them always getting onto me about my grades when I'm really trying my best. They're driving me absolutely crazy!!! They wonder why I'm never home; it's because of them! I can't wait to just go to college and get away from them.
